Join together with 4 local environmental organizations to remove invasive species along the ditches, streams, prairie and forest at Deetz Nature Preserve. Come prepared to identify and remove large callery pear, asian honeysuckle and autumn olive! Come to haul wood to designated areas and learn! Bring as much energy as you can muster!

List of things to wear:
Boots
Socks
A water bottle
Your smile 🙂

You will be going out with experts to learn how to identify invasive species and be able to teach your friends and family. For two days we are going to identify and remove plants that compete with natural ecosystems.

We will have a donation bin set up to fund the chipping and removal of the invasive gallery pear tree.

Thank you so much! Being present is the most important thing you can do to be an integral part of the environment!
